Feral: It takes a forest to raise a child: Once Free by David Morris

Yesterday, I almost finishing touches on the Kindle version of the manuscript for “Feral,” an anthology about feral children featuring 15 of the busiest and finest writers working today.

I say almost because Kindle Publishing insists on restoring deleted comments in two of the stories and including them in the book. I’ve deleted the comments three times and uploaded the book each time, to no avail. Time to call Kindle publishing help. If anyone has encounter this before, please message me.

“Once Free” was written specifically for this collection by David Morris, a writer with five novels to his name. David’s submission isn’t one of the ones that Kindle has decided to put a hex upon.

David Morris grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, from the time he was seven. In 2010, after moving a number of times he finally settled in Palm Springs, California where he finally had the time to write.

His first novel was his own biography. He’ll never publish it, but it helped to give him the skills and the drive to continue. ‘Once Free’, is his first short story. I hope it won’t be his last.

He writes Suspense/Romance and what he likes to call Science Fiction of the Possible. He has five novels available. Jason’s Virus was written a few years ago and it’s especially prophetic in light of the word we live in right now.

Spots Book One: The Youth Tablets
Spots Book Two: The People at the Pond/Second Chance
Spots Book Three: The Finale/The Lost Tablets
Jason’s Virus
The Time Ship
