Every day is one day closer to the release of “Feral,” an anthology of feral children stories scheduled for September 1, 2020. Shebat Legion is one of the excellent writers to have a story in the book. Her beautiful and evocative story is titled “The Song of Abby.” Without too man spoilers, a child is raised by an ancient oak tree. For me it brought to mind visions of druids and dryads.

Shebat Legion is a consummate producer/storyteller who has been printed and reprinted in numerous anthologies, including her collection of short stories called Hubris. Legion is responsible for the creation of Vampire Therapy, which includes a full-length novel, “Jackson and Eva,” as well as an illustrated collection of short stories set in the Vampire Therapy universe called “The Chronicles of The Cats Ass Boutique: Seasons and Reasons.” Legion's most recent production credit is the illustrated anthology of short stories, featuring over sixty authors, “Klarissa Dreams Redux,” the second in the Klarissa Dreams series, with proceeds to breast cancer research and awareness.

Besides both being writers, Shebat Legion and I share another bond. We are both cancer survivors. I'm pretty sure she feels the same way about cancer that I do. Every day I wake up is another day that cancer can kiss my ass.
