400 Days in a Row

400 straight days or running without missing a day. Today, I ran with someone else for the first time in the streak. My friend, Douglas Wise, ran five miles with me on the Bosque Trail in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We were awesome, two 70+ year old dudes rocking it on the river trail. We were so calm it didn't feel like we were running, it was more like we abided, or abode if you prefer, along the trail.

"Strong Spirits," my third collection of fantasy, horror, science fiction, and adventure stories went live this morning on Amazon - with a little more wit and whimsy than my previous collections. I've found that the longer it's been since I had to go to work everyday, the easier it is to see the humor in things.

The cover is by professional artist, Mike Walter, and the book design is by Robin Allison Lupton.
