Alyson Faye Contributor to "Feral," the anthology. It Takes a Forest to Raise a Child.

 “FERAL,” an anthology edited by yours truly, will be released in 11 days – September 1, 2020. Fifteen of the best and busiest writers will have stories in the multi-genre book; Science Fiction, fantasy, adventure, horror, humor and historical fiction - all with a touch of the macabre.

Alyson Faye’s story, “The Foundling,” is a wonderful piece. Two brothers are raised apart, but are eventually placed in the same home. They’ll always be brothers, but will they ever be alike/
Alyson lives in West Yorkshire, UK with her husband, teen son and four rescue animals. Her fiction has been published widely in print anthologies - DeadCades, Women in Horror Annual 2, Trembling with Fear 1 &2, Coffin Bell Journal 1, Stories from Stone, Ellipsis, Rejected ed. Erin Crocker) and in many ezines, but most often on the Horror Tree site, in Siren’s Call and The Casket of Fictional Delights.
In May 2019 Night of the Rider, was published by Demain in their Short Sharp Shocks! E book series and later that year Demain published her 1940’s crime novella - "Maggie Of My Heart."
“Set in the world of nightclubs, bedsits and bars, during the post-war years, Maggie, a beautiful escort girl, is caught up in a violent relationship with her lover, a spiv, Johnny. Their blackmail scams lead to murder, from which Maggie escapes into marriage with a wealthy older suitor. A chance meeting with Johnny years later, tosses her back into his clutches.”
Currently she has stories appearing in the Strange Girls anthology (ed. Azzurra Nox), Colp: Black and Grey, and the charity anthologies, Burning Love from Things in the Well, Amongst Friends (Gypsum Sound Tales) and most recently in the amazon e-book best seller Diabolica Britannica (raising funds for the NHS).
Her work has been read on BBC Radio, local radio, on several podcasts (e.g. Ladies of Horror), posted on YouTube and placed in competitions.
She performs at open mics, teaches, edits for an indie publisher and hangs out with her dog on the moors - in all weathers.
