Dejanna of the Double Star

My newest novel is available in paperback today. "Dejanna of the Double Star" was released this morning. The story's genre is what is described as "Sword and Planet."

I started this novel five years ago as a training exercise because I'd decided to become a writer after my retirement. (Three novels and a couple hundred short stories, so not too bad)

Dejanna's been rewritten several times (thank goodness) and had a couple of name changes along the way. I'm happy with how she turned out.

I'd like to say that if you like Edgar Rice Burroughs, Otis Adelbert Kline, or Ralph Milne Farley, you'll enjoy my book. I hope that's true, but the reader will be the ultimate judge of that statement.

Here's the blurb.

Dejanna, the great granddaughter of her planet's most beautiful woman and her world's Earth-man Overlord, is stolen by a rejected suitor. Pregnant, she is stranded alone in the wilderness with only her wits to save her from the planet's savage beasts and nomadic warriors. While she seeks safety, her husband searches the dangerous swamps for his wife and unborn child. Their quests put them both on a collision course with the most dangerous and warlike creatures on the planet - the savage Sarapou tribe of Zirkas, a race of gigantic and sentient insectoid beings whose thirst for power and blood is never satisfied. Dejanna must overcome her privileged upbringing and embrace the warrior blood that is her birthright to save herself and her child.

The book is $10.99 in paperback and $3.99 cents on Kindle - free to read with Kindle Unlimited. The Kindle version will be available in a couple of days. Order Here
