Today is July 11, 2020 and publishing news and running news. First, I signed the contract for the publication of my short story, "A is For Ant," a post apocalyptic short story, with Dragon Soul Press. It will be included in their anthology, "Lethal Impact." I knew all that plastic was bad for us.
Second, my short story, "Food Enough For Winter," was accepted by Breaking Rules Publishing and will be included in the October 2020 issue of Horror Magazine. Subscribe to Horror Magazine at:

Today I ran for my 450th consecutive day. In New Mexico, on Monday the 13th, it is mandatory that you have to wear a mask outdoors at all times unless you are eating on the outside patio of a restaurant or on your own property. Walkers, runners and bikers have to wear a mask.
I wasn't sure if I would be able to do that, so I tested it yesterday and today. Turns out I can. I don't like it, but I can do it. It works too, no one came within 20 feet of me during my sunrise runs the last two days. Happy to do my part. I know that running with a face mask keeps all those people on restaurant patios safer.
