The anthology, "Divine Five: Kyoakuna" went live on Amazon yesterday. The paperback is only $4.00 and it contains my short story, Son of a Son of a Samurai." My tale takes place in today's world and is about a child who grows up with the abilities of the seven most powerful samurai who ever lived. Here's the link to buy the book.

Australian Fire Relief Publication

Got word this morning from Gypsum Sound Tales, that "Amongst Friends," an anthology with all proceeds donated to fire relief in New South Wales, Australia, will include my short story, "Flash of Fire," a fantasy western hot air balloon story. Butch Cassidy rides again.

The book is about two weeks from release. There will be two different covers, both are included here. I'll post a link when the book can be purchased and how to pick a cover (or both). Save a koala and buy multiple copies.

Run Streak Day 300

February 13, 2020 and today, my running streak reached 300 days without missing a day. 1260 miles, six states, and three countries.Tomorrow, I think I'll go for another run.

Happy Anniversary

February 12, 2020: Signed the contract for the Valentine's Day edition of "Trembling in Fear" for www.horrortree.com . The special edition will include my story, "Happy Anniversary." I'll post the link later this week. The story will be free to read online.

Truth be told, it's not a happy anniversary at all. Not my usual type of story. No fantasy, no science fiction, and no things that go bump in the night. There's enough horror in the things unhappy people will do to resolve their situations.

Thuggish Itch - Close the Gate

Found out today that Gypsum Sound Tales will release their newest anthology, "Thuggish Itch - Close the Gate" on Friday, February 14, 2020. It contains my humorous fantasy story, "Hotter than the Hinges." The story is about the repairman who is assigned to maintain the gates of hell. Nice work if you can get, but the retirement plan is pretty bad.

Son of a Son of a Samauri

I signed the contract for my short story, Son of a Son of a Samauri, this week. It would be included in the next book in the "Divine Five" series - edited and published by Tim Pulo. Tim is Australian and he says that he's safe from the fires.
